Don Carson
Don Carson is an experienced Bible teacher and emeritus professor of New Testament at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (USA). He is also one of the founding members and current theologian-at-large of The Gospel Coalition. A prolific author, he has edited and authored numerous books. He and his wife, Joy, have two children.
Tim Savage
Tim Savage is the Area Coordinator for TGC Europe and a founding Council member of The Gospel Coalition in the USA. He has served as a pastor in Texas, Arizona and England. Author of several books, including the recent Discovering the Good Life: The Surprising Riches Available in Christ. He and his wife, Lesli, have two sons and a daughter-in-law and are based in the UK with a passion to see the gospel of Christ spread throughout Europe.

Mario Kushner is a reformed Baptist pastor who has been serving to revitalize the Baptist church in Virovitica since 2017. Prior to his current pastorate, he served for seven years as a church planter in Zaprešić. He teaches Survey of the OT I: Pentateuch at the Theological Biblical Academy in Krapina, has taught Beginner’s Biblical Hebrew, and has written numerous articles. He and his wife Elizabeta have a one-year old daughter Tena Elizabeta.

Ratko Medan is a professor-consultant at the School of Geodesy in Zagreb. He is also the pastor of EPC Stijena Spasenja in Zagreb, and leads the Youth ministry board for the Evangelical Pentecostal Church. From 2008-2016 Ratko served as president of the Christian sport’s organization: Dunamis, and currently serves on the board of the Evangelical Protestant Alliance in Croatia. Along with his team, he leads the Biblija365 project which aims to popularize the reading of the Bible in a modern and compelling way. Ratko lives in Zagreb with his wife and three daughters.

Mladen Dominić is the founding pastor of the Church of Christ in Varaždin where he has been serving since 1998. He and his wife Renata are parents of four children and foster-parents of three more. Mladen is a representative for the Council of the Churches of Christ in Croatia and the managing editor for a Christian magazine, Obiteljski list.

Davor Kukec has been serving with Udruga Fokus (Croatian branch of the international organization CRU) as a marriage and family counselor for over 20 years. He is a sought-after conference speaker and teacher nationally and abroad. Davor lives near Zagreb with his wife and two sons.

Domagoj Malović leads Udruga Fokus, (Croatian branch of the international organization CRU), which is focused on evangelism and discipleship. As a creator of the first Croatian commercial computer game SRAZ, and a person devoted to the Christian faith and culture, Domagoj uses his technological expertise and his passion for the spread of God’s kingdom, so that one day every person in Croatia would know at least one true follower of Jesus Christ. He is an avid cyclist, and lives in Zagreb with his wife and two children.

Ervin Budiselić teaches New Testament and Hermeneutics at the Biblical Institute in Zagreb, and is the managing editor of the Evangelical Journal of Theology Kairos. He earned his PhD in 2020. at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Theology. He has published one book and a series of articles in Croatian and foreign journals. He lives near Zagreb with his wife and two children.

A wide range of accommodation options are available in Osijek. You can choose from a variety of small hotels and private accommodation in an area close to the conference venue (maximum 20 min walk). The event will be mainly in English with simultaneous translation into Croatian through headphones for those who need it. Please indicate when you fill out the registration form. Depending on the need, some of the breakouts may have translation from Croatian into English.
The event will be held in Osijek, Croatia at the EPC “Radosna Vijest” church, and the adjacent Evangelical Theological Seminary.

As far as the conference itself is concerned, we kindly ask you to follow the official measures put in place by the Croatian Institute of Public Health. This involves disinfecting your hands when entering the building and wearing masks while indoors. Thank you for your cooperation.
€25 per adult for the full conference. This includes: full access to all the plenary sessions and breakouts, lunches, dinners, and coffee-breaks (breakfast is on your own). We expect to give several books to each participant for a value which will exceed the cost of participation! As needed, some childcare and children’s program can be provided.
